Build Explanation
This build maximizes Luo Yi's crowd control and damage output, providing essential cooldown reduction, magic power, and survivability for dominating the mid lane.
Introduction
Luo Yi is a versatile mage known for her powerful crowd control and high burst damage. As a mid-laner, she excels at controlling team fights and repositioning allies for strategic advantages. Mastering her skill combos and positioning can significantly impact the game's outcome, making her a formidable hero in the right hands.
Early Game
In the early game, focus on farming and harassing your opponent. Use Dispersion (Skill 1) to poke and apply Sigils of Yin/Yang to your enemy. When they are marked, follow up with Rotation (Skill 2) to trigger the Yin-Yang Reaction, stunning and damaging them. Utilize Rotation to clear minion waves efficiently and maintain lane control. Position yourself safely to avoid ganks, and use your teleport skill, Diversion (Ultimate), to provide vision or surprise enemies with an unexpected rotation.
Mid Game
During the mid game, start roaming to assist your side lanes. Use Diversion to teleport your team for ganks or objectives, creating numerical advantages. In team fights, position yourself to maximize the Yin-Yang Reaction by hitting multiple enemies with Dispersion and following up with Rotation. Build Enchanted Talisman for cooldown reduction, allowing you to spam your skills more frequently. Prioritize engaging when your team can capitalize on your crowd control.
Late Game
In the late game, Luo Yi shines in team fights and sieges. Position yourself to utilize Diversion for strategic plays, like catching the enemy off-guard or retreating from bad engagements. Focus on landing your Dispersion and Rotation combo on key targets to trigger the Yin-Yang Reaction, dealing massive damage and providing crucial crowd control. Build Blood Wings and Winter Truncheon for survivability, Divine Glaive for penetration, and Holy Crystal to amplify your damage output. Stay with your team and use your abilities to control the battlefield effectively.
Hero Skills
Duality
Luo Yi's skills can create (Sigils of Yin/Yang) on the battlefield. Each Sigil lasts up to 6s. Sigils of opposite attributes will trigger (Yin-Yang Reaction) when they are within a certain distance, dealing 365 (+20*Hero Level) (+190% Total Magic Power) (Magic Damage) to the marked enemies, stunning them for 1s, and pulling them toward each other. Each time Luo Yi applies a new Sigil to a marked enemy, she gains a 300 (+10*Hero Level) (+150% Total Magic Power) shield (up to 3 stacks) and 30% extra Movement Speed that decays over 2s.
Rotation
Luo Yi summons (Fire of Yang/Aqua of Yin) at the target location, dealing 250( +50% Total Magic Power) (Magic Damage) to enemies hit and slowing them by 60% for 0.5s. (Fire of Yan/Aqua of Yin) then remains at the location for 6s, dealing 50( +10% Total Magic Power) (Magic Damage) every 0.7s to nearby enemies. It can also trigger (Yin-Yang Reaction) with Sigils of opposite attributes. The state of this skill changes on each cast.
Dispersion
Luo Yi casts the energy of (Yin/Yang) in the target direction, dealing 210( +120% Total Magic Power) (Magic Damage) to the first enemy hit and those behind them in a fan-shaped area. Enemy heroes hit are marked with a (Sigil of Yin/Yang). Luo Yi stores up to 4 (Dispersion) charges and gains 1 charge every 8s. She also immediately gains 1 charge each time (Yin-Yang Reaction) is triggered. The state of this skill changes on each cast.
Diversion
Luo Yi creates a Teleport Circle around herself and marks the target location (within 28 units) as its destination. After a 3s delay, allied heroes (including herself) within the Circle will be teleported to the location. (Passive): Luo Yi's Cooldown Reduction is increased by 6%.
